Admission and preliminary examination
Our receptionist will receive you. After filling out a registration form, she will show you the waiting room. Smoking is prohibited in all Dutch Healthcare institutes. The use of cell phones is forbidden in the clinic as they may interfere with electronic medical equipment.

After you have filled in a questionnaire you will be called in by one of our doctors for a preliminary examination and an ultrasound scan in order to determine the exact stage of the pregnancy. Please note that during this preliminary examination, as well as during the treatment, no one else but you can be present.

Laboratory test
If unknown, your blood group and rhesus factor will be determined at the clinic. If your rhesus factor is negative, you will be given an antibody injection immediately after the treatment if you are more than 7 weeks pregnant.

Admissio
After the examination, you will be called in for a consultation. At the consultation you may be bring in someone else. For your own support, bring someone you can trust, like your partner, a sister or a friend.

During this consultation we further discuss with you your desire to have an abortion. We will explain the technical procedure we are going to perform and if you wish, we can advise you about contraception.
